...But Why Would I Want To Do A Thing Like That?
Senior Portraits

Today I finally went to Bryn-Allen and had my senior portraits done. My face is as clear as it's going to get. There's one bump that I've been messing with that now looks black. Blood is trapped under the skin. I couldn't cover it up with concealer, but trust me when I say that I tried. In the end, I just tried to pep talk myself into not canceling my photo appointment. This was the fourth appointment that I've made.

My pep talk went something like this:

Alisha, this bump, with all of the blood trapped under it, kind of looks like a mole. Cindy Crawford has a mole in the same place. You can be like Cindy!

Of course, my sarcastic side kicked in after that thought made its way through my brain.

Oh yeah, I'm a regular Pepsi Commercial. I look about as sexy as a member of the Insane Clown Posse.

Most people would have the shit scared out of them if they opened up their yearbook, only to find a picture such as this one, in it:

After I got to the photography studio, it took about 10 minutes to take the pictures. I took 3 poses in the drape (which is for the yearbook). I also took four extra pictures, in which I had to wear these gay-looking, fur wrap arounds. The black, white, and red wrap arounds are mandatory. The fourth extra picture is the one which the customer (me) is able to choose what to wear. I had a choice of either the baby blue wrap, or a boa (there was a variety of colors). The feathers on the boas were scaring me. I don't know what it was about those boas, but I was very frieghtened. I got kind of panicky when asked which I wanted to use. In the end, I stammered, "The...uh...uh..bl..blu...blue one, please."

I'm super smooth like that.

Here are a few pictures that I took of myself after I got home. You can't really see my makeup, which is how I hope my portraits look when I recieve them in the mail. I want to look blended in. For once, I want to look like something other than a thrown together wreck.
